The last year many ships stopped and change route after the last attack 2023-2024 !! The Yemen Forces monitoring all the vessels who passes the bab el mandeb and sometimes in channel 16 make announcement for "Free Navigation to support the palastain". Το Ινδικό Πολεμικό Ναυτικό ανακοίνωσε την  ανακατάληψη  του MV  Ruen  από Σομαλούς πειρατές ανοικτά των ινδικών ακτών και την απελευθέρωση του πληρώματος βάζοντας τέλος στην τρίμηνη κατοχή του υπό σημαία Μάλτας φορτηγού πλοίου ξηρού φορτίου από τους πειρατές.

  Η ειδοποίηση της απόσυρσης έχει υποβληθεί στον ΙΜΟ για την επόμενη συνεδρίαση της Επιτροπής Ναυτικής Ασφάλειας που έχει προγραμματιστεί για τις 31 Οκτωβρίου 2022. Η περιοχή που αφαιρέθηκε είναι η «περιοχή υψηλού κινδύνου» όπως φαίνεται στον χάρτη UKHO Q6099.
